History
CETCO Oilfield Services Company began in 1996 as CETCO Offshore, a division of Colloid Environmental Technologies Company. Our fluid treatment technology was first introduced in 1996 in the Gulf of Mexico for treatment of fluids from acid stimulation flow backs and well completions.
In 2003, CETCO Offshore became a separately incorporated entity and took the name CETCO Oilfield Services Company. The company has grown significantly, both through internal growth and acquisitions. The addition of services has grown out of the needs of our customers, and spurred by our company’s desire to link complementary technologies and processes.
Today CETCO Oilfield Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amcol International. We operate out of 20+ locations worldwide and employ over 600 people.
